ABOUT ASHLEIGH'S BAKE SHOP

Ashleigh and her dad Bud began baking pies and testing recipes one summer, and the rest is history! We opened Ashleigh’s Bake Shop at the iconic Pryde’s Kitchen Store in Westport in 2015 and have been busy making pies for our loyal customers ever since. We feel so lucky to have so many wonderful customers that we see weekly or even monthly. I make our pie crust (of course) from scratch using all butter. It is one of the reasons people love our pies.

8 years later and it’s still just Ashleigh and her dad baking pies and cookies in our tiny kitchen in the basement of Pryde’s with just one fridge and one oven. (Hey, at least the oven can hold 20 pies!) We are open Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays only and we take pride in the fact that all of our pies are baked fresh the day you pick them up. We don’t keep any pies or cookies for the next day. Fresh is best! We don’t open any cans of pie filling. We make our own fillings from scratch, we squeeze our own limes and lemons, and Dad grinds graham crackers to meticulously press his own delicious graham cracker crusts. On Saturdays you’ll find Mom Lee Ann behind the cell phone and making boxes, always making friends with the pie customers. It is definitely a family affair at Ashleigh’s!

Since we are so small and small batch, we do sell out so please don’t hesitate to order ahead, or call or text in the morning so we can reserve pie for you. We look forward to seeing you! -Ashleigh
